What should I do if I use the wrong fuel on my vehicle?

Before refuelling, always check the required fuel type displayed at the bottom of your booking page in the Popcar app.

If you've accidentally used the wrong fuel:

1. Do not start or drive the vehicle. If the engine is already running, safely pull over as soon as it is safe to do so and switch off the engine.
2. Contact our Support Team immediately by calling 02 9001 4888. Our Support Team is available daily from 9am to 10pm.
3. Provide your exact vehicle location and ensure you have removed all of your personal belongings from the vehicle.
4. Our Support Team will arrange the appropriate assistance and advise you on the next steps.

If this occurs outside our operating hours, please email hello@popcar.com.au with the vehicle location and details of the incident. Do not attempt to drive or move the vehicle, and our team will contact you as soon as possible.

Please note:

• Your account may be temporarily suspended while we investigate the incident.
• You may be responsible for the costs associated with using the incorrect fuel, including vehicle recovery, repairs, cleaning, and any other applicable charges in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
