What documents do I need if I hold an International driver's licence?

If you are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, you can still drive with Popcar! To verify your account, you will need to submit a few extra documents. Please provide the following:

• Valid Passport: Issued by your home country.
• International Driving Permit (IDP): You must provide your valid foreign licence along with an IDP. Please ensure that the International Driving Permit (IDP) is in English.
• Proof of Address: Proof of current long-term Australian and home-country residence (e.g., a utility bill or a rental agreement with the address).

You can submit these documents to support your application by completing the Popcar New Sign Up Document Form link.

Important: If you do not hold an Australian driving licence, you will be considered a "new driver" under our insurance policy, and a higher insurance excess will apply to your bookings. 

Please note that licence verification may take up to 48 hours to complete.
