Warning Lights, Symbols or Signs: How do I identify a faulty vehicle?

If you notice a warning light, symbol, or message on the vehicle's dashboard, it doesn't always mean the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Some warnings are informational, while others require immediate attention.

If you're unsure what a warning light or message means:

1. Pull over safely if the warning appears while you're driving.
2. Take a clear photo of the dashboard, ensuring the warning light or message is clearly visible.
3. Contact our Support Team by calling 02 9001 4888 (available daily from 9am to 10pm) and share the photo with us.
4. Our team will help identify the warning and advise whether it is safe to continue your journey.

If the issue occurs outside our operating hours, please email hello@popcar.com.au with the dashboard photo, vehicle registration, your location, and a brief description of what happened.

Important: If you're unsure whether the vehicle is safe to drive, do not continue driving until you've received guidance. Continuing to drive with certain warning lights displayed may cause further damage to the vehicle and could put you and other road users at risk.
