If your payment was unsuccessful, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Insufficient funds in your linked bank account.
- An invalid or expired debit/credit card.
- You've exceeded your daily transaction or withdrawal limit.
- Your bank has declined the transaction. Some banks may temporarily block multiple payment attempts to prevent fraudulent activity. You may need to contact your bank to authorise future Popcar transactions or whitelist the merchant.
Retry payment using your existing card
- Ensure your debit or credit card has sufficient funds.
- Check your card details, including any transaction restrictions or expiry date. If needed, contact your bank for assistance.
- Open the Popcar app and tap the Outstanding Fee alert on the home screen.
- Tap Payment Method.
- Select your existing debit or credit card.
- Tap Confirm Payment.
Note: If you already have a saved card, you won't be able to switch to another saved card during this payment attempt. However, if you don't have another card saved, you may add a new card and retry the payment.
Retry payment using a different card
- Open the Popcar app and tap Account.
- Tap Payment Methods.
- Select your existing debit or credit card.
- Tap the trash icon in the top-right corner and select Delete.
- Tap Add New Credit/Debit Card.
- Enter your new card details and tap Save.
- Retry the payment.
Important: If you have an ongoing booking, you won't be able to change your payment card until the booking has ended.
If you've followed the steps above and your payment is still unsuccessful, we recommend contacting your bank to confirm why the transaction was declined. If you continue experiencing issues after speaking with your bank, let us know and we'll be happy to assist further.
