Taking clear photos ensures your protection against liability for any damage that you did not cause and allows us to resolve any issues quickly and fairly. It also helps us promptly verify any damages in case of disputes.
Tips to help you take clear photos of all 4 sides:
- Stand about 2–3 steps away from the car.
- Take photos at a slight diagonal angle to capture the full side and number plate.
- Ensure the area is well-lit and the car is fully in frame (including wheels and mirrors).
- Avoid dark, blurry, or cropped photos.
Important:
If you spot any damage bigger than a $5 note, zoom in and upload an additional close-up photo.
If there is a crack on the windscreen, please take a clear photo of it, too.
The Popcar app lets you take photos and upload them directly - no need to save them to your phone.
