Young or inexperienced drivers are individuals who are under 25 years old, have less than two (2) years of driving experience, or hold an international or foreign drivers license.
Insurance Excess is the amount that you will need to pay for damages to Popcar vehicles and/or any Third Party Claims, before insurance covers the rest. All Popcar bookings include Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Comprehensive Motor Insurance coverage.
As a young or inexperienced driver:
- Your total excess without CDW is $6,000
- For 15% of your total bill (duration plus mileage charge), your total excess with Standard CDW is $4,000 (save up to $2,000)
- For 25% of your total bill (duration plus mileage charge), your total excess with Enhanced CDW will be $1,500 (save up to $4,500)
Please note that CDW does not cover Loss of Use and Admin Fees
