Minor damages include Light Exterior Damages (e.g. small scratches, scrapes, and dents), Light Damage to Wheel Rims or Tires, and/or Light Damage to the Windscreen that does not affect visibility.
Some examples of minor damage include:
- Scratches on the bumper or door
- Misalignment of front bumper
- Small dent on the hood
Please self-report minor damage by following these steps:
- Go to your ongoing booking page and tap Report an issue.
- In the next screen, tap on Report new issue.
- Select the location of the damage and type of damage.
- Tap the camera icon to take and upload photo(s) of the damage(s).
- Tap Submit.
Please make sure that you include the damages you caused during your booking in your post-trip vehicle condition report as well. Here's an example of how you can write your report in the self-report description box:
Date: 17 June 2026
Time: 11:05 AM
Location: 914 Lygon Street, Carlton North, 3053 Victoria
Description of the incident: While parking along Lygon Street, I reversed into the tree that was by the road side. There was no damage to the tree.
Damage: The left rear wheel arch sustained scratches.
Important: Please take clear photos of all 4 sides of the vehicle as evidence. This includes both the overall view of the vehicle and a close-up view of the damage.
